Cassie is a successful former career woman, now a stay-at-home mom with 2 kids, who's been through everything from first dates, in-laws, and day cares to office politics.

Although Cassie was born and raised in the Boston area, she speaks fluent Cantonese, Toisanese and some Mandarin, and can read and write enough Chinese to be a big fan of Cantopop and Hong Kong TV series and movies. She started listening to Hong Kong pop music at an early age when her mother played oldies from the 60s and 70s after immigrating to the US.

Cassie holds a BS in Computer Science from Brandeis University, and has more than 15 years experience as a software developer specializing in engineering and database applications for commercial and defense organizations.

Cassie resides in Albany, NY, with her two boys, ages 3 and 10, and husband of nearly 20 years. She enjoys writing, entertaining, traveling, tennis, cooking, chatting, playing word games and spending quality time with her family.
