Chinese Broccoli with Oyster Sauce

Level of Difficulty:

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
1-1/2 pounds or 1 bunch Chinese broccoli
1 teaspoon oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon oyster flavored sauce

Preparation:
1. Trim broccoli by cutting ¼" off the ends with a cleaver.
2. Wash each stem, and discard any flowers from the tips

Cooking Instructions:
1. Boil about 1 quart of water in a medium pot.
2. Add oil, salt and broccoli, boil about 5 minutes or until tender.
3. Remove from pot and lay out neatly on a serving plate, stems at one end.
4. Cut across stems and leaves into three sections with a pair of scissors or sharp knife.
5. Pour some oyster sauce on the side and serve.

Makes 4-6 servings.
