Steamed Pork with Salted Mustard

Level of Difficulty:
Preparation time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:
1 pound ground pork
1/2 cup salted mustard
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons light soy sauce
2 teaspoons vegetable oil

Preparation:
1. Soak salted mustard in water for about 1 hour, rinse well, drain.
2. Mix sugar, corn starch, soy sauce and vegetable oil into ground pork.
3. Finely chop mustard and mix into pork.

Cooking instructions:
1. Put a steaming rack in a pot of water and heat until it boils.
2. Place pork mixture in a steaming plate (a 9" Pyrex pie plate works well).
3. Steam pork for 30 minutes.
4. Serve with rice, or mince and add to white congee.

Makes 6 servings.
