I got a message that said: "Oops! Your request did not go through. There are already two song requests for your chosen time slot. Please try again next week." Why?
We receive a lot of requests and limit playing only 1 song from each artist during Request Hour. We fill requests on a first-come, first-served basis. If your request did not go through today, please try again later. We process requests 24 hours a day.
How come my request isn't being played until 2 or 3 weeks later?
We receive a lot of requests and we are always booked 1-2 weeks out in advance. If you are requesting a song to be played on a special occasion, please make your request 1-2 weeks in advance.
How long is Request Hour?
Request Hour runs between 45 to 90 minutes on average.
How do I dedicate a song or leave a message for a friend?
Enter your friend's name and email address in the Dedicatee fields and enter a message in the Message field. The DJ will announce your dedication and message on-air.
Can I dedicate a song to someone who lives in a different time zone from me?
Absolutely. Unlike AM or FM radio, HKVP is an Internet radio station so our broadcast is heard worldwide. To dedicate a song to someone who lives in a different time zone, simply select a time slot that will be convenient for your dedicatee to tune in to. If you live in USA and your dedicatee lives in Asia, select "Asia" as your desired time zone.
